Hydrogen Mass Flow Meter
Custody-Grade Coriolis for H35 and H70 Refueling Station Dispenser Service
Accuracy ±0.1 % (custody) / 0.15 / 0.2 / 0.5 % of rate options
DN3 to DN15 threaded UNF
Working pressure up to 100 MPa (H70 700 bar)
- Direct mass + density + temperature on 4-20 mA loop
- 9/16-18 UNF and 13/16-16 UNF industry-standard threaded process connections
- Ex d [ia] IIC T6 Gb + IP67 hazardous-area certification

Custody-grade Coriolis for gaseous high-pressure hydrogen above the vaporizer outlet. Working pressure up to 100 MPa covers both H35 350 bar and H70 700 bar dispenser service. 9/16-18 UNF and 13/16-16 UNF threaded process connections match international HRS dispenser fitting standards. Direct mass flow plus medium density and temperature on the 4-20 mA loop. Ex d [ia] IIC T6 Gb and IP67 standard. For cryogenic LH2 service at −253 °C, go to the Cryogenic Coriolis counterpart.
Benefits
- Works up to 100 MPa: single build covers both H35 350 bar and H70 700 bar dispenser service.
- Custody-grade ±0.1 % of rate: factory traceable calibration for per-dispense billing accuracy.
- 9/16-18 + 13/16-16 UNF threaded: industry-standard hydrogen refueling station fittings, no flange face needed.
- Direct mass + density + temperature: single 4-20 mA loop carries all three; HART and RS-485 Modbus for station SCADA.
- Ex d [ia] IIC T6 Gb + IP67: flameproof and intrinsically safe combined, fit for dispenser-cabinet hazardous zones.
- Small-bore DN3 to DN15: form factor matches HRS dispenser housings where flanged Coriolis does not fit.
- Lead time 5–7 business days from the factory.

Typical applications
Four hydrogen applications where the Coriolis hydrogen build is the standard pick.
HRS H35 station dispenser
350 bar heavy-duty fuel-cell truck and bus dispensing. DN8 / DN15 with 13/16-16 UNF threaded; ±0.1 % rate for per-kilogram billing.
HRS H70 passenger dispenser
700 bar passenger fuel-cell vehicle dispensing. DN3 / DN4 with 9/16-18 UNF threaded; custody-grade for SAE J2601 fill-protocol billing.
Fuel-cell test bench
Bench-scale H2 mass flow to fuel-cell stack inlet. DN3 / DN4 low-flow turndown; density and temperature on the data acquisition loop.
Electrolyser outlet metering
PEM or alkaline electrolyser outlet. DN8 / DN15 with custody-grade accuracy for green-hydrogen production accounting and certificate-of-origin trade.

Installation
Five install rules for hydrogen Coriolis on H35 / H70 dispenser service.
- Torque UNF fittings per H35 / H70 spec Tighten 9/16-18 or 13/16-16 UNF to the published torque for the seal type; leak-check at working pressure before service.
- No upstream straight pipe required Coriolis is independent of velocity profile. Meter installs directly downstream of the dispenser breakaway or vaporizer outlet.
- Fix pipe support both sides Vibrating tube is sensitive to external pipe vibration. Add brackets to fixed steel close to the sensor connections.
- Hydrogen-clean handling from receipt Keep the wetted bore sealed until install. Do not blow shop-air through the sensor; ISO 14687 grade D at the inlet.
- Earth-ground separate from welding Cross-section ≥1 mm². Never bond welding-system ground to the meter ground during pipe work.
