About ProFlow Meters
We build industrial flow meters and ship them factory-direct, with the selection work done by the same engineers who make them.
ProFlow Meters is the industrial flow-meter brand of Sichuan Sino-Instrument Co.,Ltd. We supply meters to engineers and procurement teams across the English-speaking markets: the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, India, and Indonesia. We make the meters we sell, we run the calibration, and we answer the sizing questions ourselves. There is no distributor between the factory floor and your purchase order, and standard models ship in 5–7 business days.
What We Do
We build flow meters for liquids, gases, and steam, and we supply them to industrial buyers: plant and process engineers, EPC contractors, OEM integrators, and procurement specialists. The work is business-to-business, not retail.
We do not resell other companies’ meters under a label. Every meter on this site comes off our own production, ships with our own calibration record, and is backed by the people who built it. That is what lets us answer a sizing question with a real answer instead of a forwarded email.
Selection is part of the product. Tell us the medium, the line size, and the process conditions, and an engineer matches those to the measurement principle that fits, then flags anything in the spec that does not add up before the order is placed.
The Eleven Series
Our range covers eleven measurement families. Each one reads accurately only inside a defined window of fluid, pressure, and temperature, so the right choice follows from what you are measuring rather than from which meter is cheapest.
- Electromagnetic for conductive liquids, and ultrasonic for clean to moderately loaded liquids and clean gas.
- Coriolis mass and thermal mass for direct mass measurement of difficult media and dry gas.
- Vortex and swirl for steam, gas, and low-viscosity liquids on a single body.
- Turbine for clean low-viscosity liquids and dry gas, and differential-pressure primaries for almost any readable medium.
- Roots and oval-gear positive-displacement meters for billing-grade gas and high-viscosity liquids, plus variable-area rotameters for local low-flow indication.
The full grid, with the medium-and-conditions window for each model, sits on the products page. If you already know the tag number and the service, the Quick Order form skips the back-and-forth.
Factory-Direct, 5–7 Business Days
Because the meters come straight from our own production, there is no reseller markup and no distributor queue in the lead time. Standard configurations (common sizes and materials) ship in 5–7 business days; anything custom is quoted with its own lead time.
The order path is short. Send a specification or a tag list, and an engineer returns a quote together with a sizing check rather than a bare price. When the configuration is settled, the meter is built, calibrated, and shipped with its certificate. For repeat or multi-line orders, the Quick Order form keeps the same engineer on the file.
The lead-time advantage only holds if the specification is right the first time, so the sizing review happens before the build, not after a return.
Quality and Certification
Every meter ships with a calibration certificate tied to its serial number, produced under our ISO 9001 quality system. The certifications below apply to the models that carry them, not as a blanket claim across the whole range:
- Hazardous area: CNEX Ex d IIC T6 Gb flameproof construction on the explosion-protected models.
- Electromagnetic compatibility: tested to EMC Directive 2014/30/EU, carrying the CE mark.
- Ingress protection: IP65, IP66, or IP67 enclosures depending on the model and housing option.
- Thermal gas meters: built to GB/T 32201-2015, the Chinese national standard for gas flow meters.
Where a certification is not held for a given model, we say so at quote time. We would rather lose a line than write a cert number we cannot back with paperwork. The reasoning behind each selection lives in the Learning Center, where the guides walk through accuracy, mass versus volumetric flow, and how to read a datasheet.
Talk to an Engineer
If you are sizing a meter or checking a vendor’s claim, reach the engineering desk directly. Send the medium, line size, pressure, and temperature, and you will get a sizing answer, not a brochure.
